Kick off your first morning in Egypt with a delicious authentic breakfast in preparation for a day of adventure exploring the iconic Giza Pyramids followed by the Saqqara Step Pyramids.

You will be greeted at the hotel by one of our highly knowledgeable Egyptologists who will serve as your cultural and historic tour guide. Our hand-chosen Egyptologists will bring the wonders of both modern and ancient Egypt to life before your very eyes. Your Egyptologist guide is well-versed in the history and culture of their homeland and will help you gain deeper cultural and archaeological insights throughout your journey.

Together, you and your guide will set out to visit one of the original seven Wonders of the World, the monumental Pyramids of Giza. As you marvel at their colossal presence under the sun, you can almost feel the energy of the ancient builders permeating every stone. You will have time to take pictures, explore the pyramid complex, and dive into the Pyramids’ history with your guide.

After exploring the Pyramids, your journey continues with a memorable and authentic culinary experience (Not included in your package) at a locally renowned restaurant.

After lunch, your Egyptologist will accompany you to the Step Pyramids of Saqqara, which features the first pyramid ever built, the Step Pyramid of Djoser. As you explore the site, you’ll come across intricate hieroglyphics and relief carvings that depict scenes of daily life, religious rituals, and offerings to the gods, giving you a vivid glimpse into the beliefs and customs of the time.

After visiting Saqqara, you will have the remaining afternoon and evening to explore the local area. Feel free to explore the garden district, eat at one the many local hotels’ acclaimed restaurants or explore modern Cairo. Your Egyptologist guide will be more than happy to accompany you upon request or provide recommendations for you. Replenish your energy for the next day by relaxing at the pool, taking in the view, or getting an early night’s rest. Be sure to hydrate in preparation for more exploration and adventures!

Overnight at Cairo Hotel

Get an early start and catch a short one-hour flight to Luxor. You will be accompanied every step of the way by your Egyptologist guide, not only through the airport but also through the historical sites, answering any question or concerns you may have throughout the day. You will have a chance to explore the city, beginning with the magnificent Luxor Temple, where the magnificent columns and massive statues lining the entrance, intricately adorned with hieroglyphics, tell stories of ancient myths and royal achievements.
Next, you will head to Karnak Temple, home to the breathtaking Great Hypostyle Hall, built with 134 massive columns, each soaring over 10 meters high! Tune into your Egyptologist who will explain how this Hall was designed to create a stunning play of light and shadow, enhancing the temple’s spiritual atmosphere.

Next, we’ll check in and board our Egypt luxury Nile cruise. Settle in quickly, as you won’t want to miss the transformational experience of drifting down the Nile River, a true pilgrimage through time, where each moment connects you with the rhythm of ancient daily life and the deep immortality of Egypt.

The Valley of the Kings
On day four, in the Valley of the Kings, you’ll enter tombs where pharaohs have rested in silence for millennia. The air inside is cool and still, preserving the secrets of the pharaohs whose entire lives revolved around securing a place in the afterlife through these hallowed chambers. A visit to this remarkable site is a key highlight of your 9-day adventure. Our Egyptologists work ahead of time to secure visitation to the most relevant and historically significant tombs available each day for our Egyptoria guests.

Hatshepsut Temple
Next you will head to the impressive Hatshepsut Temple, beautifully framed by the backdrop of the Valley of the Kings. Standing in this remarkable place, you will feel the weight of history and the strength of a woman who defied the odds and challenged the traditional gender roles of the time, all depicted through vibrant illustrative carvings.

Colossi of Memnon
The next stop is the Colossi of Memnon which features two massive statues, standing over 18 meters tall, erected as representations of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. Marvel at how the intricate details are still visible even after thousands of years. Be sure to ask your Egyptologist about the legend of these “singing” statues.

After visiting these incredible historical sites, the boat will set sail to Edfu.
Overnight Cruise – Full Board

The first stop on day 5 is the well-preserved Temple of Edfu located near Luxor, which was constructed in honor of the falcon god Horus. What sets this sight apart as a rare and revered historical treasure is the stunning architecture and intricate inscriptions that provide a resplendent glimpse into the religion, temples, and daily life of ancient Egypt.

Next, we will head to the Kom Ombo Temple, a fascinating double temple that pays tribute to the two deities Sobek and Horus. Here, the walls are adorned with reliefs depicting surgical instruments and medical practices, suggesting that Kom Ombo was a center for healing.

After Kom Ombo you will head back to the boat. Be sure to hydrate and take time to rest! This marks the halfway point of your journey, with much more still to explore!

Overnight Cruise – Full Board

By now you are well into your journey and experiencing the wonder and awe that has captivated the entire world for thousands of years. Be sure to savor every moment of day 6, your last full day and night on the cruise.

Our first stop will be Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, which was originally situated on Philae Island and relocated to its current spot in the 1960s during the construction of the Aswan High Dam. Inside, the intricate carvings and hieroglyphics tell stories of mythology and devotion, immersing you in the rich spiritual history of ancient Egypt.
Next, we will visit a closeby ancient obelisk, which although unfinished is the largest Obelisk known to have been constructed to date.
Overnight Cruise – Full Board

Day 7 is all about relaxation and recovery. After a week of exploring the sites in Egypt, you will appreciate some downtime to unwind, take a refreshing dip in the pool, or enjoy a well-deserved nap. The day will begin with deboarding the cruise, followed by a short flight from Aswan to Cairo. Once you arrive, you’ll have the rest of the day free to relax and recharge.

Now that you are back in Cairo, your final day will be spent visiting some of the city’s remarkable local attractions. First will be the Egyptian Museum, home to over 120,000 ancient artifacts. This museum is a highlight of the trip and a must-see for anyone interested in Egypt's decadent history.

Next, you will journey from ancient to medieval times with a visit to the Citadel of Saladin, also known as the Cairo Citadel. This historic Islamic fortification was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers stunning views and fascinating history.

Afterward, we will head to the Mosque of Muhammad Ali. This iconic landmark is visible from almost every angle of the city. This historic and religious monument is not only a tourist attraction but also a significant cultural site, steeped in history.

Ready to shop? We’ll stop at the Khan el-Khalili Market, once established as the bustling heart of trade with foreign merchants. Today, you’ll find a vibrant array of Egyptian merchants and local shops.
