Itinerary of Aswan Day Tour

This day tour in Aswan is one for the memory books. An Egyptoria representative will pick you up from your hotel and then you will spend an entire day exploring the city of Aswan. The first stop will be the High Dam which actively protects Egypt from the yearly flooding of the Nile River. It was built in 1960 and is still a feat of engineering to this day.

The second stop will be to the unfinished obelisk which is a great example of ancient building techniques. It is thought that this particular obelisk is that of Queen Hatshepsut but there are theories that it belongs to Queen Nefertiti.

The third and last stop on hour Aswan day tour is the Philae Temple, a temple located on the island of Philae. It honors the chief deity of the island, goddess Isis.
