As soon as you land at the Cairo International Airport, one of our friendly Egyptoria ambassadors will be waiting to guide you step by step through the airport and whisk you away in cool comfort to your 5-star accommodation.
Greet the day with a delicious Egyptian breakfast and get ready for a day of exploration of the iconic Giza Pyramids and later the Saqqara Step Pyramids.
You will be met at the hotel by one of Egyptoria’s highly esteemed Egyptologists who will accompany you as your private cultural and historic tour guide. Together, you and your Egypt luxury private tour guide will set out to visit one of the original seven Wonders of the World, the monumental Pyramids of Giza. Marvel at their colossal presence under the sun, and feel the presence of the ancient builders at work in every stone. There will be plenty of time to take pictures, explore the pyramid complex, and unveil the Pyramids’ history with your guide.
After exploring the Pyramids, your journey continues with lunch (included in your package) at a locally renowned restaurant.
The next stop is the Step Pyramids of Saqqara, which features the first pyramid ever built, the Step Pyramid of Djoser. As you explore the site guided by your Egyptologist, you’ll come across colorful hieroglyphics and relief carvings that depict scenes of daily life, religious rituals, and offerings to the gods, giving you a vivid glimpse into the beliefs and customs of the time.
After visiting Saqqara, take the remaining afternoon and evening to explore the local area. Whether you choose to visit the garden district, eat at one of the city’s authentic restaurants or explore modern Cairo, you are sure to feel the pulsating energy of Egypt at its best. First, you will visit Philae Temple, which stands as a stunning testament to ancient Egyptian architecture and spirituality. Dedicated to the goddess Isis, this temple is set on the picturesque Island of Philae where the shimmering Nile enhances its beauty and mystique. The intricate carvings and hieroglyphs here offer a profound connection to Egypt’s rich history and mythology.
Next, you will have a chance to visit the largest known obelisk constructed to date.

This day begins with a visit to the Aswan Dam, a remarkable engineering feat that has positively transformed Egypt's landscape and economy. A fascinating blend of innovation and natural beauty, the dam has modernized Egypt as we know it today.
Next you will head with your Egyptologist guide to explore the Aswan area aboard a Felucca boat where you can feel the connection to the river that has sustained Egyptian civilization for millennia.The traditional wooden design and white sails of the Felucca provide a glimpse into the serene mode of life that ancient Egyptians enjoyed along the Nile.

First you will head to the Kom Ombo Temple. An important pilgrimage site in ancient times, this is a fascinating double temple that pays tribute to the two deities Sobek and Horus. The detailed reliefs on the walls here offer a glimpse into ancient Egyptian medical practices and suggest that Kom Ombo was a center for healing.
Next you will visit the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the falcon god Horus. This is one of the best-preserved ancient temples in Egypt, a significant site for understanding ancient Egyptian religious practices and beliefs. You will head to the Temple of Karnak, located in Luxor. Start your day in the Valley of the Kings, one of the most significant archaeological sites in Egypt, serving as the royal burial ground for pharaohs and powerful nobles spanning from the 16th to 11th centuries BCE. A UNESCO World Heritage site, it is home to over 60 tombs, including Tutankhamun, and tells a visual story as to the ancient Egyptian beliefs about the afterlife. Learn how the tombs were meticulously designed to protect the mummies and their treasures, reflecting the immense wealth and artistry of the period. Visitors can explore several of the open tombs, and discover the immense amount of preparation required in hopes of securing one’s place in the afterlife.
Next, head to the Temple of Hatshepsut, and discover the legacy of one of Egypt’s most fascinating pharaohs and one of the few female rulers in ancient Egypt. Built into the rock face of Deir el-Bahari, the temple serves as a tribute to Hatshepsut’s reign and her power and influence. The final stop of the day is the Colossi of Memnon, two monumental statues representing Pharaoh Amenhotep III, renowned for their impressive scale. The first stop on the agenda is the Egyptian Museum, home to over 120,000 ancient artifacts. After having seen so much in Egypt, the museum ties everything together! It is truly a highlight of the trip and a must-see for anyone interested in Egypt's decadent history.
Next, you will journey from ancient to medieval times with a visit to the Citadel of Saladin, also known as the Cairo Citadel. This historic Islamic fortification was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers stunning views and fascinating history.
We’ll stop at the Khan el-Khalili Market, once established as the bustling heart of trade with foreign merchants. Today, you’ll find a vibrant array of Egyptian merchants and local shops.
